Life in Black and White


One of the things that has really brought me so much joy and happiness over the last eight years is taking photo of the things that I "feel". That is different then the things that I see.  What I try to achieve is to capture my emotions or feelings of the experience that I am having at the time.  So when I look back at my photos I connect again with the experience through the feelings that I tried to capture.   I was reading about black and white photography and found this quote by Ted Grant which sums up how I feel about my black & white canvas...

"When you photograph people in color, you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in Black and white, you photograph their souls!”
